nothing wrong with wanting a spike/stud collar.
almost every commercial or movie my dogs have been in, that is what they want them to wear. even when doing good dog stuff. i personally would not spend the money. i have only one i got for free years ago. the talent people usually provide us with those.

they just like the look. stereotype...i know. but even when wearing the therapy dog vest, i get oh, it's a hell dog!

just, don't leave it on unnattended. they do hurt. and for walking, you don't have much control on them. i like the halloween idea!
they are expensive and leather does best if not wet(can get moldy/soft/ect).
the studs can also rust if wet.
