Laurie - it's Walworth Animal Hospital; Marcia Campbell & Luba Druin. They BOTH are amazing vets; open-minded and so kind hearted. They have both lived with large breed dogs and truly understand what treatments they ned. They also have a kennel on site and will take the dogs. It was the only place I would leave my chow, as he is a moody beast (typical chow) when away from me. They 'got him'; they would put him and Nina in the same run, leash Nina, say, "C'mon Rogan" and know he would follow Nina anywhere. Luba specifically saved Nina's life on more than one occasion. She once told me, when Nina's PLE was under control, "You know - other people would have put her down. I'm glad you kept fighting." She also said that Nina was one or her favorite patients ever. (And no, she didn't say that about Rogue.

) Every dog person on the South East side of Rochester goes to them or Fairport Animal Hospital. But I think the lead vet at Fairport has retired since we moved.
