What about studs instead of spikes? Harley has a leather Harley Davidson collar with small, blunt spikes and studs both. It looks great, but the spikes do hurt when he rubs or leans on me. I personally think it all depends on how big and pointy the spikes are. I'm a total Harley Davidson nut, so Harley's collar had to be HD. They make nylon too, but they fade pretty quick.
I wanted to add that these collars seem to attract dirt and are hard to clean b/c of the spikes. |
