Exactly.
If a dog bit me, there would certainly be some sort of reaction/verbalization/response from me AT THE TIME IT OCCURRED that would be hard to miss .......and you can be darn sure I wouldn't be looking for more interaction.
I wouldn't be looking for more input from him....that would just give him the opportunity to expand on his "story".
Without making a big deal out of it, I would casually and discreetly avoid him as if he were a time bomb. At times when in proximity, I'd move the opposite direction a bit and do a little attention training with me focused on my dog, and my dog focused on me, ignoring him completely.
