That is so sad. I do hope they didn't just drop her off because she was sick, but I guess you'll never know. That is wonderful that you guys took her in. We adopted another rottie on April 4th. He had a limp too but the vet first thought it was arthritis so after a week of pain pills and no improvement, they figured out he had a torn CCL. Now he is going to have TPLO surgery to have it repaired.

He wasn't too active at first either, but I think he was just nervous being somewhere new and with 3 other dogs and probably tired from being at a shelter. He still follows me from room to room but is much more comfortable and loves to sit in our laps. They just don't understand that they aren't lap dogs but that's okay. I hope it's nothing serious with your girl's leg, and let us know how the vet visit went.
