Re: Question about 5 month old cowering when approached

*sighs*

DomAndCats - You most definitely ARE talking to a group of knowledgeable people. I owned a Rottie for 10 years and have my second one coming sometime in September and I STILL have learned a lot of very useful information here. Things I never had an issue with but others had. Questions I had that were answered by someone elses troubles, etc. However, some can get very snide and rude in there posts. I really don't have an answer to that but I think a lot of it is due to the fact they love their dogs AND this breed. With BSL looming ever so close everywhere and the amount of the dogs they love in rescue, they tend to get snippy. Some places are very close to loosing the right to own their breed of choice simply because of lack of education, BYB and puppy mills.

About all I can offer is to hang in there. Moondog gave you some great advice. Don't be afraid to ask questions as SOMEONE will answer them civilly. Take the advice you get and apply it and it will work! Ignore the snide comments. Just move right on by them and get to the advice you need :)

Hope this helps some!
