My guys are always hot too!! I've seen everything from them stretching out on the ceramic tile....to heading down to lie on the lino in the basement. My one girl has actually convinced me (on hot days~~which we don't get too too many of) to actually turn on the A/C for her....and she will stretch out in front of one of the vents and shortly thereafter snoring.....I've always somewhat worried about her possibly freezing off something doing this but its never happened yet
I get reports from puppy homes that it appears to be genetic....I've heard of every way imaginable to find a new spot to keep cool. We have one boy from the last litter who likes to climb into the bathtub to keep extra cold
Considering that we just received 18" of snow here over the past 3 days.....my guys are LOVING it....dive bombing their heads and half their bodies into snow banks and drifts.
I don't know what we would do if we lived in a warmer climate....I guess they would acclimate however my guys don't do well with heat!!
