Good for you rigging the bathroom door. A friend has a big doofus of a male Rottie that gets himself stuck in the bathroom regularly.

I actually have a dog "coat" for Missy for the summer... it's made like one of those "chilly neck" things, that you soak in cold water beforehand. We definitely do "hot" here... can't wait to try it. (bought it in December -- didn't need it then!)
