Here's another question for the masses
Max is always hot. He much prefers the ceramic tile or hardwood floor to his bed, or the couch. I can get him up on the couch with me for about 5 mins and then he goes and lies down on the floor to be nice and cool. He doesn't even sleep much on his bed since we have a stone fireplace and he'll spend countless hours sleeping with most of his body touching it.
It's been really nice and sunny here and I'll go outside with him and as soon as he relieves himself, off to the shade he goes.
I've read many posts about your rotties keeping your feet warm so is this something they outgrow? I know kids have a much higher body temp than adults, is this true for puppies too?
He once locked himself in the ensuite bathroom sometime overnight because the carpet was too hot for him

I have rigged up a high-tech "bungee" system (aka hair elastic), so he won't have to worry about getting the door closed on him again!
