Problem with Evo

On April 5th I purchased a big bag of Evo in South Jersey. I have been feeding Evo large bites for quite sometime. I started feeding this bag to the dogs and they ate it at first - then didn't want to eat. They got diarraha - didn't know what was going on. My daughter was babysitting the dogs and looked at the food - there were filaments coming out of the food - they were clumped up in the pellets and sharp - like what you would see if plastic collars were mixed in with the food. This was all through the bag. I returned it to the store - there was no Lot number or expiration date on the bag. The owner checked his records - this was an oddity. They returned the bag and refunded my money and offer to pay an medical bills. Luckly that was not necessary. I switched to California Natural and the dogs are better. Did anyone else have a problem? If not, please check if you feed Evo. I was shocked to find this in a premium food.
