Wink Re: Is your rottie a cat?

There are so many ways our rottie mix is a cat. Let me count the ways!

1. She loves to rub against you, especially through your legs. But she has the classic rottie behavior of adoring butt scritches above the tail.

2. She caught a live rat outside when she was younger and instead of killing it swiftly she played with her prey just like a cat does.

3. When playing, she loves to pounce on her toys and bat them around. She refuses to retrieve.

4. And she loves to get us to open the back door and stand in the doorway as if she can't decide if she wants to be in or out. So cat-like!

For all her cat-like behaviors, she's cat aggressive...

Shelters frequently claim a rottweiler mix is part lab to make it more adoptable and that's how I turned into a Rott'n'lab Mom.
