Any other advice for a novice breeder?

Good news - I found a Tosa club and one of the members is interested in breeding his female to a Rott. We agreed for me to have my choice of the product litter, so based on some of the advice I've gotten from posters here I guess I'll take a female (lol, with my luck it'll be all boys aaargh). Any other advice for a novice breeder? Any shots or stuff my dog should get before he does the job? I'll of course time it so that by the time the pups are born my friend will be back already to take his dog.

Howbout once the pup is here (I guess after 2 months at the earliest)? Seperate them, give them limited supervised time, or what? I'm starting to build the kennel/enclosure for the temp foster tomorrow, so that'll still be there once I get the pup and my friend's dog is back home.

Thnx again to the posters who replied with constructive advice without resorting to infantile namecalling even though you strongly disagree with my plans. I respect that. To the others, all I can say is I have a thick skin so I won't whine to the mods about the verbal abuse but I still think it's inappropriate for an info board like this.
