Just try making it fun. Have her walk 'with' you around your yard, priase her and give her treats as you walk together - no leash.

Get a very light weight leash and attach it to her collar and let her walk around with it trailing behind her (she must be under constant supervision during this exercise so she doesn't get caught). Walk along side her again with treats and praise.

Attach the leash hold onto it and walk in front of her, only as long as the leash, facing her get down low and call her to you, praise praise praise and treats. If she can do this try teaching her to sit directly in front you, that way whenever you call her she will come to you and sit at your feet.
