I wouldn't worry about it if they were small injuries.....my last litter I felt sorry for one boy as his sister was really relentless in chewing on his ears....and he's fine now!!

I have actually had major injuries on young dogs that were otherwise stitched or stapled closed and they have healed entirely. I had one young bitch who torqued under (so she thought) a barbed wire fence and sliced her ear in half......microstitched and you would never even see the scar. My one champion bitch was squirrel hunting and somehow sliced laterally up one of her front legs about 2-3" laceration....stapled closed and you would never know she was injured.

I wouldn't worry too much about it....I have actually seen rotts and/or other breeds in the working group in the show ring with shaved areas/stitches etc. I overheard one judge comment that its a working breed, injuries are bound to occur.
