| Small Scars... Me and my wife just got our first Rottie yesterday, and she is absolutely beautiful. It took us awhile but we found a good breeder with years of experience showing and breeding. We chose our pup based on her conformation and personality. It was a hard choice as the litter had several good pups but after 2 and a half hours we choose our pup.
When we got her home we were going over her with a fine tooth comb again looking for any flaws as we would like to show her. We thought she was flawless (well in our eyes) until we got to her chin and lips. We notice a few very small puppy bites, more than likely from romping with her brothers and sisters, with little scabs. They are not too noticeable at all but my wife is scared that they will leave scars and only get bigger as she ages.
We have only ever had rescue dogs prior to this so we never really concerned ourselves with such little things, we were more concerned about emotional scars. Should we be concerned about these marks or will they just disappear as they heal or with age?
Thanks for any assistance. |
