My last girl I started on Canidae and had the same problem with her stools....not runny, but kind of "sticky" I guess you could say. I had good luck with Innova and California Natural, and when she had her "picky" days I would add a little canned food, cottage cheese or plain yogurt with her kibble and she would gobble it right up
