This thread is interesting as I have a Bronko grandson and a Balou grandaughter that I plan to breed in the future. His temperment seems soft at times but he has head and bone second to none. She has temperment to die for but is lacking size. He was bred more from dogs to show and she was bred from working dogs of vom Schloss Hexental kennel. Oh how I wish I could hand pick the genes from each of them because they are both very close to being excellent dogs.
Light eyes is another interesting subject and breeding dogs from either Bronko or Balou could get you light eyes. My boy has maybe the darkest eyes of any Bronko offspring I've ever seen ( somewhere between 2A and 2B ) but most everything from Bronko lines has light eyes, more so than Balou. |
