Your vet cannot do all of the health certifications. They can take the x-rays for the hips and elbows and then they must be sent to the OFA
Orthopedic Foundation for Animals, the eyes must be done at a CERT clinic and the heart certified by a heart specialist.
Just because your dogs are registered by the AKC does not mean they are breedable.

What have they got to contribute to the breed? How do you know they are worthy of breeding? Unless you take them into shows and test them in obedience or working venues...then they are just pretty dogs in your eyes.
Many of us are critical here of people wanting to breed their dogs, because we are involved in rescue. We clean up the mess that people make "breeding their nice dogs".

There are not enough good homes, and shelters and rescues are full all of the time. Are you prepared to take back any puppy that you produce? anytime?
Anyone can throw two dogs together and produce puppies....but this does not help the breed. Many places have BSL in place....and one day we may not be able to own this breed.
Please re-think your plans of breeding....or find a mentor and start learning...all there is to know about the breed. Find the faults of your male and your female...learn all of the things that can go wrong with whelping. We have members here that have lost the mother and all her pups giving birth.
Unless your dogs have all of their health certifications as well as conformation titles and working titles....if you breed your dogs you will be a BYB.
