HI Brad! You aren't too far from me...The amount of food you feed depends on what kind of food you are feeding and the calorie content...Then you gage on how she looks, not what's on the bag. She sounds like she is fine, they say the average growth is about 10 pounds per month, so if she is 6 months and 51 pds, she's fine. Again, how does she look? When you are gone, is she crated? what type of activities are you doing with her? Is she in classes? If she is crated all day, then you come home and she still sleeps it could be a couple things, she could just be a bit of a couch potatoe, some are, but there is a chance there is something going on medically. If you engage her in play is she happy to do it? Have you had a vet check her out? Maybe do a blood panel? |
