You can rotate amongst brands without gradual changes too. I do it all the time as do many others here. Aside from that, if he's not liking NV, then try another brand. You can add yogurt, eggs, plain pumpkin, sardines, etc to the NV in order to use it up and then try Innova or some other brand. Or, just go back to the Canidae.
