Worried that she might have eaten my sock

I came home today from work and Nikki had one of my socks in her mouth. Usually I always check to make sure I did not leave anything out before I left, and this is the first time I didn't notice a sock left outside.

The fact that she had it in her mouth does not bother me simply because she did not rip it or anything. What has me worried is the fact that the 2nd sock to match the pair is no where to be found. Now either she picked it up and left it somewhere I can't see, the sock was not left outside with the other one, or she ate it. And I'm really hoping its one of the first 2.

She has never eaten socks before, she usually just holds them in her mouth, tries to tug with it, or possibly sit and rip it but not swallow, so I don't know why she would start now. Especially because I left her nice and tired after a long walk in the morning as usual, and I left her with her daily kong when I left for work. I think I'm just overreacting because she has not shown any signs of feeling sick after swallowing a sock such as being lethargic, not eating, not going to the bathroom - she seems like her normal self.

I guess I'll find out in the morning - if I can get any sleep now that I'm worried about this. If anyone can give me any help, please do.
