As for how long you should give him usually 10 to 15 minutes is long enough. Also as long as he is a good weight I would not worry about it but if he is leaving more than eating every day then have him checked out. My older dog would not eat when I got her at 4 months old so the vet where I work put her on a long term antibiotic and wow did she start eating and to this day if she doesn't eat you know something is wrong as she is a food hound. but I'm not saying there is something wrong with your puppy as many dogs go through this sometime as a youngster were they dog eat so well. |
