Was she put on antibiotics? The use of them can lead to yeast infections in the ears because not only do they kill the bad bacteria, they also kill the good flora.
I would also think allergies as a possibility as well.
Either way, if they are red, heated, and your dog seems to be reaching up and scratching at her ears, your dog, more than likely, has an ear infection and needs to see a vet. Catching it early will lesson her discomfort. |
