If I were you - I would speak to more than a couple of COE breeders. That way the "hope" factor becomes more of a "know" factor. It is not just about the dogs you are looking at - it is about their lineage, and how they compliment - or take from their genetic combinations.

There are resourceful COE breeders in WA, and elsewhere. Also many old time breeders do not breed any more - but have good insight into the breed. To get a true representation of what is available, not just the flavor of the day in the rings - you should take more time to research thoroughly before committing yourself to any breeder, litter, or puppy.

Understand the lines - for example - what are the differences between American bred lines - and ADRK German bred lines? It is ALL about proven type, structure, health, temperament, and working ability.
