I love you all! So we dug the Dremel (yes the Dremel brand) out of the garage, I did have to buy a different bit. Anyhow it is TONS quieter than the Oster, even on the highest setting. It doesn't get hot in my hands and the bit doesn't have the wobble that the Oster one had making me worry whether or not it would come flying off. Yup, so I'd recommend this to anyone! I hate throw away products and if I recall correctly the Dremel cost less than the nail grinder and it also has 51 different attachments!

Nope, it is a power tool that can be used to grind down dogs nails.
