When I hear how much you obviously love your dog it brings tears to my eyes. I lost my 2 year old Max to Osteo, and it was swift - it was the reason for coming to this forum. It sounds like to me your Jaxx was lucky to have such a great owner.
Eventhough it is always hard to say good-bye, at least you know you did everything in his life to make his living fun and worthwhile, and that is what counts.
