People magazine did a similar story awhile back on this phenomenon. They may have even featured Yaffe's website. This type of ignorance is why I bought myself a t-shirt while vacationing in Florida last month that says "Dog is friendly. Beware of owner." The weather's just getting warm enough that I can start wearing it when I walk Samson and/or Gretchen.
