There are many foods out there for diabetic dogs from your veterinarian that are prescription diets. Also what were you feeding before your dog became a diabetic as many dogs do well with their current diet just as well as long as it is a good quality food. The vet where I work we try to get the dogs on the prescription diets but some dogs are just to fussy or the cost is to high for the dietthen the client wants to pay. |
