Mike, I just want to say how sorry I am to you and your family for your loss of Xena. Truer words were never spoken. You have brought tears to my eyes to just how you handled this to the T. I have been through this 2 times and my 1st Rottie passed at home basically the same way and my 2nd at the hospital the same way. Both let us know it was time. She is now in no pain and with all our Rotties in very good company. God Bless you for you strength and to anyone who needs the strength to do the honorable thing for their babies.
