While other members make suggestions re: the issue of raising 2 puppies, I'd like to address the above. I have a Rottweiler and a Pit Bull (they're more than a year apart in age.) They got along great for 3 years, the getting along ended then and they've been separated for the past year. I'm lucky, my house is set up so there are plenty of rooms to use as "airlocks." It still isn't easy and it causes alot of worry on a daily basis. Be prepared to do that in case something does change.
