True, this has been known to happen. IMO a trainer would be negligent if he did not try all options possible to try and correct a behavior. If there is one thing I have learned through my trainer, it is that
all dogs are different. Some techniques may work for one dog, and not for another.
A prong collar should always be used under the supervision and guidance of a trainer.
