we opened my inlaws shore house this weekend (in long beach island, nj) and took riley with us (hopefully not for the last time) and we were blessed with beautiful weather yesterday-it was almost 70, which was wonderful since they were calling for rain. we sat outside on the deck all afternoon, and riley was basking in the sunshine, looking at the ducks in the water, and we were there with the video camera and camera capturing it all. if this was her last weekend there we couldn't have asked for a better one-she got to do exactly what she loves to do down there - sit outside in the sunshine and enjoy life. i can only keep my fingers crossed for one more time down there with her, so she can take one last boat trip across the bay, with the breeze in her face. but we had a great weekend, and i am happy we were able to do this for her.
