It is heart wrenching to me to see so many who have lost their best buddies and still long so deeply for their company. This is how deep these dogs go into our hearts. I have people ask me if I miss having a dog now - I lost my last Rott three years ago - and I tell them I miss the ones I've lost, I miss their personalities and their presence. I miss THEM. But my heart still isn't ready to reach out yet - one day, but not yet. And I agree that we will all be together again and it will be joyous for all of us !! |
