I would just post a "Dog on premises" sign. In Ontario if you put a "Beware of dog" sign on your property and a stranger trespasses and is injured by your dog, you cannot be sued per the Ontario Dog Owners Liability Act. But I like the "Dog on premises" sign better as it doesn't insuate that your dog is dangerous / viscious.
I have seen a couple of cute commical signs. One was a sign with a picture of a Rottweiler on it, below the saying "Got balls? Jump this fence. |
