I'm not sure if his behavior today has to do with the new puppy or not. But I am in need of more advice. We took boths dogs to the vet. They were both seen in the same room. When the vet began to examine Diesel, he began to growl at her. He has never done this, and I mean never and he's 4. He's has always taken his shots like a champ. She muzzled him. He has never had to wear a muzzle before. I instantly corrected him with each growl. He was borderline obnoxious. I must admit, I was a slightly embarrassed.

What can I do to help him continuously be on his best behavior?
