 Food Confusion for puppys
Hi all,
Just a quick question regarding Science Diet for pups. My 3 1/2 month old loves the food and has a very shiny healthy looking coat, is active and playful with good solid poops and occasionally has a little gas, but not enough to be a problem. I did a search here and the last post about S.D. that came up was in 2004. Now I have read the ingredients and yes, there is grain in the food but again, she looks healthy and seems to have to be good with her stools. After reading thru the posts here I am thinking of switching to Canidae as it seems to be highly regarded here. I just dont know if its a case of the old "dont fix if it aint broke" thing. My vet says to keep her on it but they sell Hills products so I dont know how much I trust that. Have they improved the S.D. formula since 04 or should I just get her off it? I get compliments on her coat and overall appearance quite often so i'm just a bit confused. Thanks for any insights you can bring. :) |
