Dogs pant to cool themselves. Dogs pant heavily after overexertion.
You did not mention whether all of this activity started recently. Is your dog conditioned. Dogs need to be conditioned just like athletes.
On a side note it is important to not exercise your dog for one hour before eating and at least one hour after eating. |
