Brinks had training class on Wednesday night. We were working on "leave it" with high value treats. I put the treat on the floor in front of him and told him "leave it". He kept eye contact with me the entire time. The trainer, out of no where threw a new treat in the same area. I told him "leave it" again. I kept moving the treats closer to him and he would keep eye contact with me, then he lay down. I looked at the trainer like "now what?". She told me to move the treats up onto his paws. LMAO, my good boy sat there for 2 mins with two high value treats, right on his paws. He didn't touch them. I thought that was pretty good for 14 weeks old. The other pups in the class are all older than Brinks and their owners still had to "cage" the treats with their hands to stop their dogs from taking them.
