Why are you adding in another female? They will be close in age...female/male households do much better. And your 19 month old is still very much a puppy...why don't you wait until she's mature and reliably trained before adding in another one?
As for walking, it depends on the dog. Shelby is dysplastic so I don't take her on really long walks, she's good for about 1.5 miles or so before needing a break. Hudson (greyhound/mastiff) hasn't required a break from anything. He is very energetic and can last a long time on walks, hikes etc whereas Shelby cannot.
