Any dog registered in the working group, their registration will begin with "W". After all the numbers (looks like 6 numbers) are used in a SERIES...as in WP999999...the second letter goes to an "R".
That is the signaficance of the second letter...first letter is GROUP...second letter HOW MANY litters in that group registered for that series.
My dog's sire's registration number is WP748534/01 so that means that he was in the seven hundred forty eight thousand five hundred and thirty fourth WORKING LITTER registered in that letter seried (P).
Mind boggling, isn't it.
