One of the reasons they keep the pups identified by colored ribbons is so that they can keep track of health, weight gain, personality development, as the pups grow. I am definately no expert but the Monks of New Skete have a great video about it, it's in our library so maybe you can find it in your library.
Even though Rich and I had both had dogs before (his were Rotti and Dobi), we STILL took a year to save $$$ and educate ourselves, and WOW, it was so worth it. Many things that new posters here are having trouble with, are not a problem for us because we studied about it first. Good luck with your search. |
