I start giving a marrow bone to a pup as soon as they get home.
The only thing to watch for is that the marrow is very rich, and until the pup/dog get's used to it, it may cause loose stools or an upset tummy.

You could try giving the frozen bone for 15 minutes or so, then trade the bone wby using a bit of chicken or cheese or some other goodie. Pop the bone back in to the freezer...and give again the next day.

You could also give a thawed out bone....but scoop some of the marrow out before giving the bone....this way you control the amount of marrow that the pup will get.
