I went to AKC's web site and did a search for the AKC number and came up with nothing for Fozzy. But that was not her name at birth. I was able to pull up the Sire and Dam Blevins. Then realized that the AKC number for Fozzy was a litter number. So entered that with Blevins and came up with 11 names and numbers. Would all of those names be for Fozzy and 10 siblings? Is there any way to know what her name was at birth?
Use the litter number but add 01,02 etc after the number.Enter each one in the AKC data base and see what or if all the puppys from her litter were registered with AKC.You are not going to know for sure which one is her unless someone gives you her registered name. You will just know it's one of them.
You can look up dogs on the AKC site by number or name. But the name has to be spelled exactly right.
Plus sometimes papers get lost in the mail and you might end up with a higher number. My dog Kendall in 19 in the litter and there were not 19 puppies in the litter.
