We know that she is not going to drop dead now. We know that she is feeling pretty good and cocky. Now is the time to let her know that just because she has had a near death experience, cost an arm and leg in vet bills and is cute as a button, still does not give her permission to snatch pizza from the children. I am sure there were house rules before she got sick and she needs to know that those rules are still in effect. |
LOL I will try that pumpkin pudding....yea she is REALLY testing the house rules.....she has never tried to take food from the kids....she snatched the crust when the youngest was taking it to the trash.....that and she usually goes in the crate with a simple "inside sassy" and I have to either bribe her in there or shove her in there the last couple days....she just kinda flops at my feet about 4 feet in front of the crate and looks at me like "please just let me lay here...look how cute I am"....I kinda feel her pain since she was in a smaller crate for 11 days straight....but I have been scolding her for her bad behavior and in the crate she goes when she is naughty (without a bribe)....she was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good and NEVER tested the rules before all of this.....now shes a hoot....AND she is LOVING the chicken....she had 5 chicken thighs today (minus the bone and skin).....I am wondering HOW and WHEN and WHAT to start her back on regular food....she will stand by the stove while I am boiling/cutting her chicken and sit there like a good girl and I know she knows that it is for her....I need to talk to the vet on monday about food.....
