This is not something you have to take somebody's "word" on. OFA records are PUBLIC. You could have easily checked these records for yourself prior to purchase at
Orthopedic Foundation for Animals . All you need is the dog's registered name or registration number to see if they have OFA clearances. Dog's that are not listed can be assumed to have not been tested, or if tested, can be assumed to have failed the test and the owner has chosen not to reveal that little detail.

And this is how they circumvent the health problems. Of course you are going to love the dog you've come to know and if his medical problems can be treated without undue suffering on his part, why would you want to put him down? They're
BANKING on that. Literally. Never sign a contract you can't live with. And you're absolutely correct.....if you've purchased one puppy from them with health problems, why would you go back for more? Only a fool would do that.
