| Mother In Law getting new puppy?
Hi I havent been on the boards in awhile but Rocky is now almost 10 months old. My question is my MIL is adopting an 8 week old male Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix on Friday and I was wondering when and how do we interact these two dogs. Rocky does very well in his obedience classes but I want to ensure these two will get along as they will be with each other on our boats, in our houses and on vacations. Only problem I see is Rocky is extremely spoiled and might be jealous when my MIL and FIL show the new pup the attention that Rocky used to recieve. I know Rocky wont be ignored but he has gotten so big and strong, he is about 105lbs and the puppy is still small. Any suggestions on how to make this a win win situation for everyone involved.
