It's not normal....but I have heard of dogs doing this. A normal dog would mate with a bitch in heat.
I would also like to know why you think your male is worthy of being bred? Has he got his Championship or Sieger titles? What other titles do you plan on getting on him (obedience, tracking, herding)???
When do you plan on doing all of the health certifications? Hips and elbows are done at 24 months, the eyes can be done now, as well as the heart.
