| Re: Would you have a Rott not fenced? I agree with the other posters. Number one, your dog should be inside 90% of the time. Number two, you can allow a well trained dog (even a rott) outside with supervision in an unfenced yard.
My rott lives just like this, when we're outside and able to keep her in sight she's with us. If you have to get rid of the dog because you lack a fence, I'm not sure why you got one to begin with.
