Evening update time.......vet tech called and said that tonight her temp is 100.7 (normal) and that normally her temp goes down when they check it at night but tonite it is staying good....also, they gave her 20cc of rebound that she kept down and she said she was going to try her on 2-3 tablespoons of purina EN (i think thats what she said)....a high calorie mushy dog food....she said she would call if she threw it up....no call so far....she said she was leaving around 8pm......also no diarrhea today and she only vomited when they gave her the cephazaline (she does this EVERY time she gets this)....vet tech also said that her vomit has more texture...its not so gooey.....hopefully this is the beginning of the long road home!! Oh, my Sassy is VERY crate trained and I have been telling them that from day 1 (every time they tell me she hasnt had any diarrhea or urine, but they were convinced she was so sick that she would have no control) so she says today "ive noticed that she wont pee in her cage, but every time I let her out to clean her cage she pees." Thats also when she had all the diarrhea -when she was out of her cage.....I was like DUH! Ive been trying to tell them that all week and wonder if thats why she has had such a hard go at this because she has been holding it ALL DAY til she just cant anymore....most of her diarrhea was overnight.....Anyways, please keep up positive thoughts and prayers!
