The OP is worried about the cost of shipping. My solution would be to find a breeder within driving distance if the cost of shipping is too much.
Also the OP has no clue on how to pick a breeder or to buy a puppy...and was ready to do it over the internet.
You have experience and knowledge of these breeders that you are buying from overseas...and most likely have been to some of the kennels in Europe? or at least know of the breeders? Different story.
